May 31--Sara Hudson's favorite neighborhood is Richmond's Shockoe Bottom. She just can't stand to live there anymore. As Mayor Dwight C. Jones' administration is underscoring its commitment to revitalizing and attracting Links of London Sweetie Black Rhodium & 18ct Rolled Gold Bracelet to the Bottom, Hudson likens her Links of London neighborhood to Jekyll and Hyde. In the overnight hours on weekdays and weekends, the historic charm and eclectic mix of the farmers market, apartments, shops, restaurants and bars gives way to rowdiness and, to a degree, lawlessness, said Hudson, who lived in an apartment overlooking the 17th Street Farmers' Market from 2006 to early last year. "It just became this strange place where the rules just didn't apply," she said. City officials say they're taking steps to restore order in the Bottom after two fatal shootings, while also trying to settle on a strategy for development and revitalization. The Jones administration, which took office in January 2009, is in the process of selecting a firm to Links of London Sweetie Bracelet options for development in the area. Previous administrations have gone down the same path with the Bottom, which was devastated by a flood caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Gaston in 2004. Ideas proposed, floated and in some cases still under consideration have included a large, mixed-use development anchored by a minor-Links of London Sweetie Bracelet Medium ballpark, a bus transfer center in the train shed to Main Street Station, an expansion of high-speed rail, a slave-heritage museum and a medical complex.
